SECONDS SALE! Set of Two (2) Hand Thrown Pottery Wine Cups

These pieces are what I call “beautiful seconds,” flawed, but still safe, functional, and beautiful. These little tumblers are all dressed up in my glaze combination, “Winter Dusk.” These stemless wine cups are gorgeous! Sit perfectly in the hand. Rich, glossy glazing that practically glows from within. Beautiful conversation pieces or for a relaxing happy hour of solitude.

Approx. 3″ diameter by 3″ tall, hold approx. 10 ounces. This listing is for a set of two (2) wine cups. Seconds flaws may include surface glaze issues such as crazing or crawling, messy bottoms, warping of the vessel, or a less well-made form. I also sell items as seconds that are not flawed but have no corresponding mate, or are a form or glaze that I no longer use.

Every piece made by Kairos Klay is unique. No two pieces are exactly the same. Each piece is individually numbered with the year in which it was made, and hand-signed. All functional ware sold by Kairos Klay is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

As these are hand-made pieces, please be aware that colors and shapes may vary according to changes in light and differences in screen resolution. Although I strive for consistency in my work, please note that sizes are approximate, and may vary slightly.

RETURNS: I don’t offer returns for pottery seconds, but please contact me if there is a problem with your order.

PHOTOS: Photos are of the actual items for sale, unless otherwise noted in the listing. I do use LED photography lighting to standardize my photos and show detail (I work in a dim basement), but I don’t use any color filters in my photography. It is always my goal to accurately represent my product, which is why I take new photos with every shop update.

SHIPPING: If you purchase multiple items, I combine shipping wherever possible. There are some items I don’t combine shipping on, such as utensil holders, for the safety of the item. Your cart automatically adjusts the shipping charges when purchasing multiple items, lowering the overall cost of your purchase. Although the cart usually does a good job of adjustment, I also refund shipping overages on multiple items in the event they overcharge.

SAFETY: I’ve been using all my products in my own house daily for nearly ten years. My family tests each new product type I create before I list it in my shop, and I have a certification in ceramic product safety. All of my glazes are free from lead, barium, and cadmium, and are tested for leaching and durability.
